Chantal Spleiss' Biography
Dr. Chantal Spleiss studies pedigrees since 1998 when she bought her first Quarter Horse. The focus on different traits changed during the years and she extended the studies of bloodlines to Thoroughbreds. Since 2005 she owns the Rocking Wolf Ranch in Canada, where she breeds Quarter Horses that are successfully trained and shown by Lisa Mayer mainly in Reined Cow Horse events.
In 2014 she started allbreedGENETICS, a free database with equine genetic markes that can be fully searched and features visiblly rated data quality. In 2017 she founded MagicMatchGenetics (FB) and started to offer Pedigree Analysis and Mating Advice to the public.
Chantal Spleiss was born and raised in Switzerland. She graduated in 1997 with a master of science in biochemistry and in 2005 with a doctor's degree in technical sciences both from the Swiss Federal Insitute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland.
